Excessive loud music played all day long from cars that can sit stationary at the traffic lights for upto 1min. This occurs 24hrs a day. Cannot hear conversations in my own living room.
This not just refined to car music, but police/ambulance sirens playing all the way through the evening - even when there isn't any traffic around!

I've just moved to the neighborhood 4 weeks ago. The sirens are unlike anything I experienced in any borough or neighborhood in New York. They are sometimes every two minutes consistently for several hours. There is no traffic when they turn on, and when they stop at a traffic light sometimes they turn them off. Only to turn them on again to drive through a green light with no traffic. This is worst on Mare St. when ambulances are turning on and off Well St. I am all for saving lives, but when it appears as though sirens are only turned on for show and not to actually notify other vehicles or pedestrians then it feels like we're being taken advantage of.
