Flat 02 at 2178 Dumbarton Road Glasgow G140JJ is used for emergency short term letting by the local council or social services. Each time a tennent is rehoused Glasgow city coucil (or an agency contracted by them) excavate the flat and leave the contents in the close or in the court yard and never in the appropriate designation e.g. out on the street awaiting pick up or in a bin. Subsequently the environmental services find the rubbish and clean up the back court or close and apply service charges of £50 to each house holder, records of which can be obtained from the appropriate office. Or the usual householders tidy up the rubbish. Bags left in the close have been ripped open and contants spilt in the close and street and also set on fire. There are large bags blocking our back door which have been left by the council. Please tidy up your litter.

Contact Knightswood (or Yorkhill) fire station and ask about a fire safety visit. They should be able to approach the housing agency regarding its actions.
