Fake road sign

A Matrix road sign has been erected at this location. It is obscured by trees on the approach and once it does become visible it draws the attention at a point the road narrows at a pedestrian crossing*. Add to this the poor, hopefully temporary, repair to the potholes creating a cyclists chicane and the site is a fatal accident waiting to happen. Clearly, no-one from a single agency would be allow such a dangerous mix to be created, so I can only assume the various groups involved haven't been talking to each other. I would suggest it be covered immediately and a thorough investigation be launched into who erected the sign without giving proper consideration to safety.

*The location may not be an 'official' pedestrian crossing point but the location of the traffic island means it is often used as one.
