My house was burgled in March and my car was badly scratched in May this year. My neighbour has also suffered from carjacking, burglary. The Lostock Ave. is becoming a problematic street. The insurance company and the police have asked for CCTV footage from me, but there was no single CCTV installed on the street or in the nearby Chapel Street Park. I have emailed to the city council twice enquiring the possibility of installing one CCTV on the street, but haven't heard from anything back. I would like to know whether the city council would be able to install a CCTV on the street. If the answer is no, why not. Cheers.
