Rubbish in street including used needle

I found a hypodermic needle on Springfield Road (under the trees where there is a part of the pavement missing) in amongst more rubbish today. I carefully picked it up and disposed of it but there is more rubbish there and further along the street that should be cleared up. (I can't remember ever seeing the street cleaned; something the council stated would be increased when they changed normal refuse collection to only once every two weeks.)

Council should probably also sort out that section of missing pavement?
