Van struck lighting column

Reported in the Street lighting category by Jake Green at 15:21, Fri 16 July 2010
Sent to Glasgow City Council 3 minutes later

A reversing delivery truck struck the lighting column at the corner of Balshagray/Victoria Park Gardens South next to the grassy area. The column is old style heavy steel so on impact it has slightly uprooted it and left it sitting at a slight angle. The column moves quite violently in the wind and the cracks in the tarmac at the base can be seen moving when the column moves. Could this column be replaced or reset before it kills someone.
