Broken Lamp Post

This lamp post has been broken for more than a year, as I noticed it before I had a visitor from overseas in July 2009. Why hasn't it been fixed, or removed?

This broken lamp post is still there, which doesn't surprise me as it's been broken since at least July 2009.

A new label has been attached to the post, warning that it is live. Funny that the post has been in the same state for over 14 months now, and only now has a warning been issued to the public.

Wow! The council has finally seen fit to remove this lamp post. It was still there yesterday, but today it had miraculously vanished as if aliens had swooped down in the night and taken it, maybe they did ... thanks
