Deep pothole on Chesterton Road/Elizabeth Way pedestrian crossing

Reported in the Potholes category by T Chan at 03:15, Sun 18 July 2010
Sent to Cambridgeshire County Council 4 minutes later

Pothole on the pedestrian crossing south of the roundabout. It's not very wide so large tyres might just go over it, but it's very long and deep. This makes it particularly dangerous for cyclists (it's also near the side of the road) and pedestrians using the crossing (especially the visually impaired).

this pothole has not been fixed. It is a hazard for cars as well because it is big enough to shake the suspension with a loud noise if you get it wrong!

Unevenly patched about a week ago, but no longer dangerous.
