Outwood Common Road - problems with the road surface
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 08:03, Wed 14 July 2010
Sent to Essex County Council 1 minute later
The road outside 419/421 Outwood Common Road has subsided since street works were undertaken by a utility company (Thames Water I think). There is a dip across the road directly over the trench where the street works took place.
The dip is gradually getting deeper, causing problems to road users. It is certainly becoming dangerous for cyclists coming down the hill at night.

Updates
Acknowledgement received from council last week, only action to date has been to spray paint the edges of the very large pot hole.
This road was closed last week for repairs so I assumed the appling surface would be done - but no A Kerb has been added but the road surface is still the worst bit road road in Essex - I use a motorbike and the potholes on the tight bend are DANGEROUS especially now it is pitch black dark in the evening - the opportunity to fix this was there and has been wasted - the road surface is appalling and has been in this state since last winter and it is now November - Why was the road closed but nothing done ???
