Sensor on traffic lights

The traffic lights at the top of Carter Knowle Road do not detect my motorbike, I have had to wait at them for several minutes before, with almost no cars coming along Ecclesall Road.

They only change when a car comes up behind me, so if this does not happen for some time (which it often doesn't at quiet time) I can be stuck there indefinitely!

It needs to be made more sensitive, or put on a timer so it changes automatically every minute or so.
