Traffic lights at the junction of Church Lane and Trumpington High Street

The traffic lights appear to be ought of synch. The lights from Cambridge stop but the lights in the opposite direction remain on green. If the reverse were true, traffic from Church Lane could turn left to head towards Cambridge. But as it is, if someone is coming out of Church Lane and the traffic to their left is stopped, they still can't go because there is no green light, then the traffic sets off again and eventually both lines of traffic stop and they get the green light.
