Updates
Thanks for raising this issue - I'm one of the councillors for that area.
I have raised this problem a number of times over the last two years with both Lambeth council and with Hyde Housing (freeholders of a number of the properties along there). This did lead to some pruning work being done previously, but obviously branches and leaves grow back.
I will raise this again with both Lambeth and Hyde and keey you posted on their response. In particular, I will push for a commitment from the relevant freeholders that they will schedule an annual pruning exercise along the street, as otherwise the problem will just keep reoccuring.
Best Regards,
Cllr Steve Bradley, Liberal Democrat Action Team - Vassall Ward
I received some feedback from a council member informing me that it was being looked into, however, no attempt has been made to solve the problem.
