The north side pavement is affected by low hanging branches, causing streelighting to be inaffective. The area feels unsafe at night.

Thanks for raising this issue - I'm one of the councillors for that area.

I have raised this problem a number of times over the last two years with both Lambeth council and with Hyde Housing (freeholders of a number of the properties along there). This did lead to some pruning work being done previously, but obviously branches and leaves grow back.

I will raise this again with both Lambeth and Hyde and keey you posted on their response. In particular, I will push for a commitment from the relevant freeholders that they will schedule an annual pruning exercise along the street, as otherwise the problem will just keep reoccuring.

I received some feedback from a council member informing me that it was being looked into, however, no attempt has been made to solve the problem.
