Traffic light sensor does not work for bicycles

Regarding the junction where Cranbourne Avenue meets the A229/A274.

The traffic lights leading from Cranbourne Avenue appear to require a sensor to trigger the traffic lights to change to green. It does not appear to be sensitive enough to detect bicycles.
