Dislodged Services Cover

Sent to Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council less than a minute later

Virgin Media cover to a trench containing fibre optic cables has become dislodged and damaged by wagons passing over it. We have replaced the cover several times, but the damage is getting worse. It is only a matter of time before a vehicle or pedestrian falls down it.

Apparently, someone came to look at it week ending 06/08/2010 but I've just been to have a look & it doesn't seem any different than the photo I sent previously.
