Over grwon grass

I live on rothesay rd and the field behind me is really bad for overgrown grass, its nearly at my waist, it took me a good couple of minutes yesterday to get out of my garden and to the path trying to get through the grass and the nettles. if i need to get out of my house in an emergancy i wouldnt be able to get through that way especially with my 3 year old daughter and 7 month old son, it isnt safe and it makes the area look really bad, we are trying to make our house look nice and all the grass is growing in through our fence. i dont think its been cut for years
