Speeding traffic along Old Road, Harlow

Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 21:38, Sat 3 July 2010
Sent to Essex County Council 2 minutes later

Although Old Road has a 30mph limit, many cars nonetheless drive very quickly down it. What makes this worse is the fact that the pavement, especially in the stretch leading from Guilfords to The Hoo, has become very thin due to overgrown vegetation. This means that cars travel very fast just a few inches away from pedestrians. I ask that the vegetation be cut back so the pavement is made wider. I also ask that "Check your speed: 30 mph" signs be placed along this road. Thank you.
