Park Estate Shavington-cum-Gresty Cheshire

Despite the usual feeble and recent attempt to fix potholes by gobs of tarmac, a significant number of holes remain unfilled. Park Estate was adopted in 1961 and residents had to pay to have the road surfaced then. Apart from an occasional stone dressing nothing significant has happened since then. I have lived on Park Estate since 1977 and I cannot remember any occasion when the surface was stripped and a new layer of tarmac put down.

Whether or not my comments on fixmystreet were heeded, I am happy to report that major repairs have taken place and that, apart from a few minor "holes", the majority of the street has been repaired. Thanks to fixmystreet in any case.
