Short green on exit fromMarshalsea Road

Reported in the Traffic lights category by Nick Buckley at 08:40, Fri 25 June 2010
Sent to Southwark Borough Council 5 minutes later

NW-bound traffic entering Southwark Bridge Rd from Marshalsea Rd is being held back by a v.short green light - approx 4 vehicles get through.

This is not justified by the flows in SB Rd itself. The resulting queue then obstructs larger vehicles, especially buses, travelling SE down Marshalsea Rd as a result of the diversions elsewhere.

Initial (v.quick) response was from the Borough, but they said I needed to phone TfL. So the implication is that FixMyStreet either doesn't auto-hit TfL for this category, or that TfL don't respond.

There have since been roadworks at the junction, including with the lights totally out. So can't tell how they will settle back to normal.
