Minicab Cars Illegally Parked

Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 08:41, Wed 23 June 2010
Sent to Hillingdon Borough Council 3 minutes later

Cabs from the nearby minicab firm are frequently illegally parked on the yellow lines in the roads outside the High Point building. Frequently they obstruct pedestrians trying to cross the road in this area. This has been the situation for over a year. Traffic wardens do not patrol this area.

Absolutely nothing has been done. The minicab cars park on double yellow lines, single yellow lines, in the bus-stand area, in the bus-stop area, on the pavement, across the pedestrian crossing near Tescos, and at the side of the mini-roundabout. The Council's traffic wardens are happy ticketing cars in the main shopping centre, but for some reason (back handers?) they do not ticket the minicab and private cars just north of the station and outside Tescos (in the public road part).
