After reading a stream of letters from the new housing associations about how residents should be keeping their homes looking clean and tidy, I think it is disgraceful how Merseybank shops still look the way they do. Although there have been many promises pumped into the heads of everyone on the estate, I believe it is time someone should approach those buildings with either a paintbrush or bulldozer.
