Houses and lack of road signs

We live at orchard cottages, dawley road, hayes,. As much as it is a main road (A437), the traffic coming from dawley road across the roundabout past blythe road, is getting busier. the traffic uses both lanes to go straight across then they cut across into the left lane, however they are only meant to use the left lane to go across as the right lane turns right. also, the houses round the bend, past the lights find it increasingly difficult to drive out the driveway when traffic exceeds the speed limit especially coming from the roundabout. Please can we have some signs or alternative traffic warnings to show there are residents along this road and people may be driving out. its becoming a bigger problem and this will only get worse.

the problem might be alieviated if residents in the properties nearest to the roundabout actually reversed into their properties and then drove out. (as the highway code states they should)several signs have been put in the location and the traffic lights have been moved further up for the benefit of residents.

As i previously informed you, we do reverse into the driveway, when we can - this is also a problem when trying to reverse in during busy periods as the traffic comes round the corner very quickly. when we drive off the drive the traffic doesnt travel at the speed limit of 30mph. if i drive out the drive as per the highway code i cannot see round the corner so i do not see oncoming traffic until the front of my car is on the main road. THIS IS NOT SAFE. There are NO signs to say there are residents or houses on the road. This was checked on the 20th october 2010. The speed limit on the road is 30mph but the traffic coming from the roundabout exceeds this. There have been numerous crashes on the road and this will only get worse and needs to be sorted out.

the lights have not helped residents after the bend, they still cant see round the corner!

someone tell me why some residents park on the areas that are clearly meant for gardens not hard standings. there is a councillor living along there who has spent years trying to get speed controls put up but because its in hayes the council dont care if someone gets hurt.
