Oak Tree at No 6 overgrown
Reported in the Street lighting category by Tony Avon at 14:20, Mon 7 June 2010
Sent to Croydon Borough Council less than a minute later
Street lighting is being lost because the overgrowth of the oak tree at no 6 blocks out most of the light. This has been reported before and there seems little enthusiasm or ability to do anything about it. We only have two lights in this street and this one is next to useless. If the other light should go out the whole street will be in near darkness.

Updates
was told matter would be referred to (I think) a "Streetscene" officer who would deal with it. I have heard nothing since and nothing appears to have been done.
Received one (1) reeply. Was told the problem would be passed on to someone with a fancy job title. Nothing else has happened and no one has had the courtesy to enquire if I felt this reply was helpful. With the additional growth over the summer the situation has grown worse if anything. It wasn't as nothing has been done. Why am I not surprised?
As previously stated I had one letter saying the problem had been passed to asomeone else(ie : not the sender of the reply). Since then I have heard nothing an nothing appears to have been done. Perhaps they are waitimg for the eaves to fall off the tree?
