Green bags

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 13:30, Mon 7 June 2010
Sent to Birmingham City Council 4 minutes later

Several green bags were again not taken today, presumably because they contain non-green items. The black bag guys won't take them because they're green! Please collect them and think up a system that works!

I received an email from Birmingham City Council saying they had booked a collection for the next working day. Unsurprisingly, that did not happen. I have emailed them again.

Another refuse collection today but the pile of green bags are still there. It's now 3 weeks since it was first reported and they have been lying there for at least 5 weeks.

After a further exchange of emails with the Council the bags were finally collected today! They had been lying there for at least six weeks.

garden rubbish not collected. I reported on the 6th and the 8th ref no's 8002122099 and 8002145176. Are the green bags to heavy for the dustmen?
