For the past MONTH and a HALF, there has been a 'burnt out and vandalised' B.T. Public telephone box (Coin Box forced NO HANDSET ON PHONE, Box 'heavily damaged', situated at the SIDE of the GOOD NEWS Newsagents , BENTON ROAD (A1058) situated at junction of HORSLEY ROAD. (The telephone number of this Box is undescernible). Dispite previous reports to British Telecome two weeks ago. BOX STILL REMAINS IN ORGINAL VANDALISED STATE AND OBVIOUSLY IS NOT WORKING. Surely a Public Telephone Box is still a public priority for emergency calls etc?.
