Nesting Herring Gulls

For yet another year, some 6 to 8 pairs of herring gulls are nesting on the roofs of the Rose Street buildings adjacent to Picardy Court. We will yet again be subject to incessant noise throughout the days and nights, particularly when the chicks hatch. The gulls scavenge any discarded rubbish or any rubbish from overflowing or waste bins left open. There will also be gull attacks on people and animals once the chicks hatch and begin to leave the nests.
