Bourned End high street or 'the parade' needs a complete overhaul. The entire road-surface from the junction that meets blind lane all the way to the Lloyds Bank round-about is in disgraceful condition. There is also a manhole cover right at the junction of blind lane that has badly sunken taking with it the surrounding road surface causing a deep crator. All of the above problems will damage cars.

Surprise surprise! NOTHING repeat NOTIHNG has been down to repair the parade at Bourne End. Apparently it's down on councillor Mike Appleyards resurface plans but nothing has been done. I write regularly to my local MP who kindly forwards my reports to the director of highways but so far this road along with a dozen or so seriously damaged roads have not been repaired. It's an absolute disgrace and I intend to pursue legal action against Bucks Highways for failing to maintain the roads in accordance with the Highyways Act, which is crystal clear regarding the councils responsibilities. We are half way through the year and the roads in South Bucks are disgusting, and dangerous!
