Unsafe road surface

Reported in the Potholes category by Paul Thorner at 09:31, Sat 22 May 2010
Sent to Monmouthshire Council 3 minutes later

Potholes have been an ever present on the full two mile length of this road for nearly a year. Road needs resurfacing as umpteen attempts to just fill the holes have always been very short term. Car suspensions are definitely being affected

Other than financial, there is no excuse for leaving this road in a dangerous state. Is a claim for damages the only catalyst for action?

Staggering inaction by the council. Do these comments get to the right department?

not for the first time, a repair has been done - to some of the smaller potholes! I can only imagine they ran out of tarmac and therefore the problem remains. Hilarious stuff if you weren't ruining your suspension each time you went through deep potholes.
