Hazard Markings

Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 15:45, Thu 20 May 2010
Sent to Isle of Anglesey Council 4 minutes later

Unlike other establishments, there are no hazard markings or speed warning signs on the approach to this village school from either direction, nor are there any traffic moderating measures or parking restrictions in place. Because of this, the road often becomes a hazard with carelessly parked cars creating a funnel for rapidly transiting through traffic. There is little hope that a child could safely navigate this road under these circumstances.

Nothing done and the problem ignored - but that's business as ususual for Anglesey Council.

No surprises here. No response from the council (again), no interest in the safety of children and no desire to anything about much at all.

Labour - of course.

I've been stonewalled!

Here's a pic showing fresh skidmarks from yet another near miss.
