Inefficient street light

A new street light was turned on yesterday that shines into my flat. I did not fall asleep until 3am last night because of it! Can you please fix a shield to it? I need it to be dark at night to sleep, as nature intended.

I requested an update a few days ago, and the council are waiting for contractors to rectify the problems. So I'm hoping it will be fixed soon...

The council are now suggesting that the street light will be repaired/shielded at the end of the month.

They are still promising to fix it, after even more reminder emails from me...
