Unfinished works.

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by Alan Rolph at 15:50, Tue 18 May 2010
Sent to Richmond upon Thames Borough Council 4 minutes later

In Teddington Cemetery, at the main gates opposite Church Road, a water tap has been installed about 30 feet inside. Since this work was semi-finished quite a while ago, the ground has been left open with a huge metal grilled fence round it. Has this work been forgotten or is there still a problem to be resolved with it?

I have put the marker in the wrong place on the map - it should be opposite Church Road, Teddington

All Works completed on 20/05/2010

Hi, thanks for reporting this.

I have been informed today that "The delay in fixing these works was caused by The Water Board being slow to fix the connection to the water main.

All works were completed yesterday and a site check this morning confirms that all works completed and all equipment removed."

I hope this resolves matters to your satisfaction, and once again thanks for bringing it to our attention.
