Pedestian Refuge
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 16:49, Fri 14 May 2010
Sent to Merton Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 114411.
The pedestrian refuge o/s 51 Kingston Road was removed to facilitate gas main works. These were completed some weeks ago. When will the refuge/keep left islands be reinstated as this busy road is difficult to cross safely now.
Updates
-
The island will be reinstated, but is being redesigned by our traffic engineers. I must point out however it is not a pedestrian refuge, and should not be relied on as a crossing point.
