Pothole repairs

Reported in the Potholes category by colin law at 14:39, Fri 14 May 2010
Sent to Manchester City Council 1 minute later

The small repairs done to the large potholes on Thorley lane, adjacent to bailey Lane have all deteriorated to the extent that several large and dangerous potholes are now exposed to all traffic. The potholes need immediate and more extensive repairs carrying out.I work at manchester Airport and I have to drive over these holes every day.

the road area is still strewn with patches of repairs, holes and general bad wear and tear. considering it is a main artery road to/from airport, it is very poor and dangerous. police are also involved in trying to get repairs hstened.

the council have advised the pot holes will not be repaired until 2011, and then it is not 100%.. all due to funding. meanwhile the pot holes stay a danger to all motorists, pedestrians and cyclists

the major pot holes were fixed last week w/c 25th Oct 2010. there are still a few left , which I assume will be repaied in near future.
