Speeding buses and cars

Buses and cars increasingly use this road at speed and combined with the growing volume of traffic cause houses to shake / vibrate. Quiet evenings and good night sleep are getting more difficult. The vibrations from the street would seem to have caused a fault line / crack running from the pavement toward a few houses, and in my case through the house to garden patio walls at the back of the house. Perhaps strengthening measures, traffic calming measures - and altering some current car parking arrangements to protect houses with little / no front garden, one way traffic circuit between Sydney Road and Rushdene?
