Sadly some loosly fixed concrete coping stones have been rearranged and/or liberated from the tops of retaining walls, along the line of the foot ramps leading to Briarfield Road Shops at Broomwood Timperley WA15 Some of the stones are now cracked. loosened, or broken into smaller chunks, many are now missing. Some are roughly placed unfixed on the wall tops. Obviously; this is not an ideal state of affairs: Some care now needs to be taken on Health and Safety grounds to prevent further misuse of the remaining sections and fragments.

This photograph shows some of the remaining coping stones stacked along the wall : Ready for refixing
Sadly some coping stones have been broken up and the debris dispersed : It is suggested that these fragments be removed ib early course
The problem has been partially fixed: Some loose or stacked coping stones have been removed off site, most if not all of the chunks and fragments of concrete have now been swept up and removed.
It is unclear when the missing sections of coping may be replaced and the work made good?
The ramp looks a bit unkempt but is probably safe if no loose coping stones remain unfixed.
