Residents dumping rubbish in street

189 linwood crescent, en1 4ur has communal paladin bins with a special shed to house them. Newlon, the landlord (who I have made many complaints to about the situation), refuse to house these bins in their shed because of vandalism to the doors, so for the last year or more we have been faced with new residents from across the road dumping their rubbish on a daily basis in the street beside these bins. The dustmen rarely take the rubbish left on the floor, it is an eyesore and a health hazzard, we now have rats in the street and no-one is prepared to do anything about it. The street just looks like a rubbish tip! The residents opposite obviously dont care that they are looking out of their windows at their rubbish on the floor. Something really needs to be done and Newlon need to be made to house the bins in their sheds. We never had a problem before the new residents arrived as all residents were aware that we were not allowed to use these bins but since two new families moved in at 110 and 112, there has been a problem. Other people see them dumping the rubbish and have started dumping theirs too. its disgusting. I can take photos if necessary. The council website does not currently work for reporting this problem.

The rubbish from the floor was cleared about a week after I left the original post but the two massive palladin bins remain in the street with residents still dumping rubbish in and around them. The bins look unsightly and are standing next to a perfectly good purpose built bin shed! Every other bin shed in the road (and there are many) are used so why not this one?

The problem still exists, I have been contacted by someone from Enfield council who informed me that they made several visits to the site and found no rubbish but then came another time and found some rubbish there which belonged to someone in 189. The only time there is no rubbish is on a wednesday, so if they visit on a wednesday they will not see the problem. I was away overnight last night and came back today to see a horrible sight of rubbish in the street. I have taken a photo, which I shall attach. I also intend to now keep taking photos and emailing them to enfield council, now that I have a contact. They do not consider this problem a health hazzard or a problem. They cannot force Newlon Housing Association to house the large paladin bins in the bin store provided but if I left my rubbish in the street, or indeed a dustbin by my door, then I would get a letter stating all the rules and regulations. The bins are a total eye sore and this should not be allowed!!!

the problem still persists because Newlon will not put the bins in the shed! It's disgraceful!

I am loading three photos. One is the bins on the day the rubbish is collected.. The second is the bins that evening and the third is 5 days after that (today!)
