Satelite Dishes

Reported anonymously at 10:44, Wed 28 April 2010
Sent to Lambeth Borough Council 1 minute later

It is my understanding that it's a criminal offence to fix a satelite dish to a Listed Building. Flat 72 and Flat 146 Pullman Court have both done this. Can anything be done to have these ugly things removed please.

The dishes are still there, and it seems to have encouraged others to fit dishes. It looks like this lovely building has mushrooms growing on it! We now have dishes attached to flats:-39, 45, 51, 57, 65, 72, 76, 108, 133, and 146. Pullman Court is a grade 2* listed building which really needs protecting from this kind of abuse. I hope Lambeth Council will step up and deal with this.

I received an e-mail from the Lambeth Council enforcement team, saying the tenants of these flats had been given a deadline of the 30th June to remove the dishes. I have heard nothing since, and the dishes are still up.

The deadline the owner of the dish was given to remove it was the 28th June. However it is still there and more have gone up since.
