EVERY weekday lunchtime, pupils from Litherland High School and also the nearby New College off Sterix Lane. Bootle. Merseyside, returning to school from the local chip shop, cut through the local Groves. Namely St Dunstans, St Davids, and St Georges Groves. They litter not only our Groves but also our gardens with half full trays of curry and chips, pop bottles, drink containers, plastic and paper cups, plastic cutlery, etc etc. This has been going on for a long time, and is an absolute disgrace. Letters asking the school to `have a word` at morning assembly have simply been ignored. My local Council is Sefton Borough Council. I wish to remain anonomous and choose to withhold my address to avoid having my windows and garden becoming special `targets`.
