Brooklands Road, South Manchester from Norris Road junction to beyond the Maple Road junction has an extremely bad road surface and is full of holes on both sides of the carriageway from continual road works over a number of years. The road has been in this state for at least ten years, is getting worse and worse and is in urgent need of resurfacing.

The road is terrible - cyclists are unable to even cycle in the marked cycle facilities due to the state of the carriageway.
