Sent to Kirklees Borough Council less than a minute later
Im reporting the poor lighting outside my house,their is one light on the corner of the lane that runs to the side of kfc,but there is no light by my house which is further on st james road,i find it very dark on an evening and now have to use a torch when walking up my pathway outside my house as i have slipped and tripped on various occations..i cannot afford to have lighting fitted on my house nor to run it on a daily basis,but i invite kirklees to see how dark and dangerous it is on a night,i did have solar lights but they were stolen from my pathway,i did report this to the police,but never really expected them to be recovered.

23 days ago my problem was reported and i am still awaiting a reply from kirklees council....will i ever??????????????????????
i have heard no reply to the lighting problem on my street,will it take a mugging or a freak accident before kirklees council address the problem,and it would be also polite if kirklees council stopped being so ignorant and silent towards my complaints.
still no response from kirklees council and an accident is still waiting to happen..will they address it then?? probably yes...when someone puts in a huge compensation claim that will cost the tax payer an hefty amount as where the money could be used for other resources...
