I am absolutly fed up with the ammount of takeaway boxes, bags, cartons, paper cups etc.,being dumped and thrown from vehicals that frequent the various take-away premises in marsh..the biggest problem is the customers who park in the carpark and the start of st james road area, they arrive then collect their food, then get back in their vehicals they then eat and drink and then constantly wind down their windows or open their vehicle doors and throw their rubbish into the road/carpark/pavement and then just drive away.there are a number of litter bins around the carpark and on and around the end of st james road but probably only half of these customers use them.the majority of packageing seems to be from kfc/subway.i think that this problem needs fully addressing as this problem is attracting both rats and mice to the area,a real direct attitude needs to be taken as this problem is ever so frequent and as a resident find it very disgusting every time i open my front door or look from my window and have to see this.

i find that the problem at marsh has still not been addressed.i have had no reply from kirklees council regarding my complaint and the litter problem just carries on and gets worst..i am very dissapointed with the councils none response and what seems like a slap dash attitude towards my worries and interest in the area that i live in.
