Uneven pavement

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by N Welsby at 10:09, Wed 7 April 2010
Sent to Enfield Borough Council less than a minute later

The rooting system of an Ash tree growing in the pavement are causing "heave" and damaging the pavement to the extent that it has become dangerous. This is a problem that has grown - with the tree over the years, when a number of attempts to remedy the problem have been made by Council Contractors covering over the rooting system with tarmac - this of course will only ever be a temporary measure. My contacting the Council a number of times over the years has not yet produced a satisfactory solution to this problem.
