The childrens play park is always full of litter. I rely on the park as a local safe place for my 1 1/2 year old to play and run around in.Its getting worse and worse. The older kids who play there leave cans of drink, bottles and fried food boxes and dont put them in the bin. I spend so much time picking up litter in this park, as my child always tries to pick it up, which is very unhygenic for a small child, not to mention dangerous as ive seen sharp cans and litter. There are no signs about putting rubbish in the bin, id like to see more dustbins. currently there is only one. Also it should get cleaned just like the rest of Stoke Newington common. the rubbish is disgusting and completely ruins this well made and otherwise in good condition play park. Why is it always left in such a state? I dont drop litter, i teach my child not to drop litter, yet of course others do. We cant teach the nation so easily but if it was clean when they found it, maybe they wont foul it.
