Missing kerbstones

Contractors working on the railway have erected a new fence along the line of the footpath linking Balfour Street and Bruce Street. In so doing they have removed some path edging stones leaving potential trip hazzards on this unlit footpath.

I received a telephone call from the council to confirm the pavement is not adopted by the roads department, but is owned by the council housing department. The problem had been caused by contractors working in the new railway line, and he said he would sen an instruction for them to carry out a repair. To date nothing has happened.
