Bonfire

Doing an internet search I have found that almost ALL other councils are dismantling and removing these unofficial UNISURED bonfires, Every year this one makes the lives of us residents a misery- it brings noise, mess, smoke, fumes, illegal fly tipping and of course the VERY anti social behaviuor associated with bonfires and fireworks. As this was lit Monday evening and left to burn out unattended- which it didn't,youths came at 2am and spread the fire over an even wider area and threw fireworks into it, it was then re kindled Tuesday evening again attracting youths and as of today the ash remains.

12 MONTHS ON--- Same problems, same answers ITS TRADITION to have the fire there, been there 30 years etc etc. E.Health, H and S just dont want to know. Its a disgrace that this council are so lax in their duty to prevent this as EVERY other council takes into account residents concerns and of course the sheer cost to the councils of removing the fire, the fire brigade call outs as the rubbish is set alight at least 4 times pre nov 5th, CBC are playing at beibg Enviromentally Aware.
