Hole in the Road

Please can you repair this hole. It is 18 inches by 26 inches and is in the middle of the road. My Neighbour and I drop into it every day when we turn into our drives. It has appeared since the snow earlier this year and is continually having stones come out of it scattering on the road

I have not heard anything from the council and the hole is getting worse. I believe the Highways agency came to look at the hole 2 days after I registered it on this site, but they have not worked on the issue at all and I have not received any correspondence. It does seem a poor, slow, and ineffective local council
