On Timmer & causes lots of traffic at peak times

The traffic lights on the one way system in Paisley at peak times causes the traffic to slow right down to a halt at times, backing it right up.

This morning (19/03/2010) the traffic was flowing perfectly. Why? Because the lights were turned off.

When I am going to the train station in the morning i have to get off the bus at the traffic lights at Weir Street/Old Sneddon St because i know if i wait on till the lights change to green i will be late, and this makes me have to run for the train and just get on it in times, leaving earlier doesn't solve the problem either because of bus times and then the traffic lights on the way. Either get rid of them or improve their congestion control, ie give them sensors and not a timer this if this is not already the case.

The problem has recently been fixed. They have allowed extra time and less time from the other side.

Traffic gets through the lights much better. Thanks!
