AtkinsGlobal have written to me, presumably on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council.

They wrote:

"With reference to the email we received on street light number 4 is out.

The nearest address on the email shows 31 Harvey Goodwin Avenue which shows on the system as street light number 8.

CCC8 has been reported out, please let me know if CCC4 needs to be reported out as well.

Look forward to hearing from you."

I have written back to confirm that light number 4 is out. The guess of outside number 31 (made by FixMyStreet) is pretty much spot on.

Streetlight 8 is now also out (perhaps intermittently given I didn't notice it was out before).

I have written back to the council to confirm to them that now there are two lights which need fixing.

These lights are now working again.

Streetlight 4 was repaired today; perhaps to avoid the embarrassment of having it raised at tomorrow's North Area Committee meeting. The repair took the council three months.

This light is not working again.

I've made a new report at: http://www.fixmystreet.com/report/141016
