Remnants of sign dangerous

The two 2 inch stump remnants of the Brankie Road street sign located at the southern junction of Brankie Road and Burghmuir drive , Inverurie ( Grid Ref NJ 7617922106 pose a trip hazard and safety risk especialy to young children. The stumps are sharp and rusty. If anyone falls on them, they are fairly likely to suffer severe injury

The imminent safety risk was attended to expeditiously by the Council by fairly rudimentary method of battering the stumps relatively flat. As of Sun 11th April 2010. They have still to be removed and the street name sign replaced.
Contrary to the indication above my anonymous report was not anonymous as the Council wer given my email address and they responded via it.
Additionally, it is not my problem ("your problem") but a problem which I reported. There is a distinct difference between thwe two scenarios and I believe that it is important to have accuracy in the use of language.
