Grass Verge

The verges on arkley road are almost entirely ruined in some sections. The one outside my house (No 39) is still covered in grass but is now being driven on by people who park their cars on the verge and then drive around the lampost to use Number 41 drop kerb. Could something such as a bollard be put between the lamp post and the pavement to prevent this happening and turning the verge into a mudbath?
