Dog fouling

The pic shows an example of dog fouling which has existed for 2 weeks at least. The nuisance continues into Holystone on both corners, and all down Newton Road to the shops (Co-op). Obviously the animal is being excercised on Newton Road. A regular check of the area for this problem should be in place.

Updates
It is over a week since I posted this pic. I received an email assuring me that action would be taken in 5 days. The Supreme Turd in the pic remains in all its glory - and had been joined by about another 6 deposits (one of which has been run-through by a wheeled vehicle). Quite disgusting. PLEASE ACTION THIS MATTER SOON.
It might be a good idea to collect it and post it to the relevant authority! :-)
The same offensive deposit remains as it was. Other "messes" appear regularly. No-one in authority appears to be interested.
The turd is still there, although reduced in size by rainfall. It dried out later, and has moved 3 feet - i don't know whether it has grown legs, or perhaps the wind moved it. Anyway, more dog mess has appeared regularly. The whole area is treated as a dog's toilet by the folk from the "posh" streets who have permit parking, while we are clogged up with cars from the Miniatry and hospital. The Liberals don't give a hoot for us.
